About Cairn & Pine
We make air fresheners that smell like places, not products.
A cairn is a stack of stones that marks the trail. A pine is what you smell when you reach it. Cairn & Pine started with one idea: the best smells in the world are outside, and most air fresheners do a poor job of bringing them in.
What we make
Eighteen fragrances in six formats. For the car: scented paper hangers, adjustable vent clips and a pocket spray. For the home: reed diffusers, fine-mist room sprays and gel jars. Every scent is built as a proper fragrance with top, heart and base notes, so it develops over weeks instead of fading into a single flat note.
How we build a scent
- Start from a place. Evergreen Ridge began as a ridge trail at seven in the morning: fir needles, cold air, wet stone.
- Tune for the space. A car is small and hot; a living room is large and still. Each format gets its own strength and evaporation curve.
- Keep it clean. Our fragrance oils are free of phthalates and parabens, and every home format is flame-free.
The launch
Cairn & Pine launches Spring 2027. We are publishing the full collection ahead of time so you can read the notes, compare formats and tell us which scents you want first. The waitlist gets early access and founding member perks, and it is how we decide the first production run.
