When does Cairn & Pine launch?
Spring 2027. Waitlist members get an early-access link by email before the public launch.
Can I buy products on this website?
Not yet. cairnandpine.com is a pre-launch catalog. We publish scent profiles, usage guides and specifications here so you can choose before launch, but there is no checkout and no prices are shown.
What does the waitlist get me?
Early access before the public launch, founding member perks on your first order, and a vote on which scents ship first. It is free and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Do I need an account?
No. The email waitlist is enough for early access. A free account adds founding member perks, lets you save scents, and counts your saved scents as votes for the first production run.
Where will the products be sold?
Details will be announced to the waitlist first. Sign up and we will tell you as soon as it is confirmed.
How long does each product last?
Paper hangers last about 30 days, vent clip cartridges about 45 days, gel jars about 60 days and reed diffusers 90 to 100 days. Room sprays and the car spray are counted in presses: roughly 400 and 200 respectively.
Are the formulas safe?
Our fragrance oils are free of phthalates and parabens. As with any scented product, keep them out of reach of children and pets, avoid contact with eyes, and use room sprays away from open flame.
Which scent should I start with?
Evergreen Ridge is the signature scent the brand is named for. For the car, Pacific Drift is the lightest and Black Timber the most grown-up.
Do car and home scents match?
Several do. Rainfall Forest spray pairs with the Evergreen Ridge diffuser, Sunset Mango hanger with Island Cove spray, and Saddle & Smoke vent clip with Campfire Vanilla diffuser.
How do I make a reed diffuser stronger or lighter?
Use more reeds for a stronger scent and fewer for lighter. Flipping the reeds once a week refreshes the scent.
Will a hanger damage my dashboard?
The hanger is dry paper. Avoid letting it rest on leather or plastic in direct sun for long periods, as you would with any scented product.
